Product Description
Introducing the Electrolux T8 ZT3510, the bagless cylinder cleaner with advanced technology for easy cleaning.
The T8 ZT3510 is an innovative and attractive bagless vacuum cleaner. It features eight multi cyclones for continuous suction which delivers amazing cleaning results. It is ideal for homes requiring a powerful compact vacuum cleaner that need the additional help of soft wheels to protect your floors and skirting.
Changing from cleaning carpets to hard floors is a breeze thanks to the dual purpose floor nozzle whilst the parking clip at the rear of the cleaner lets you store the nozzle neatly away after use.
The suction power of a vacuum cleaner is measured by air watts. The T8 offers a continuous suction power of 250 air watts to deliver amazing cleaning results and has a HEPA 12 washable filtration system that captures pollen, dust mites, and allergens to leave your home fresh and clean. A great benefit if you have children or adults in your home with allergies.
Hard to reach areas are a breeze thanks to the metal telescopic tubes – especially when combined with the crevice tool attachment or dusting brush for those tricky cleaning areas in your home. The T8 also comes with an upholstery nozzle for cleaning your sofas and curtains easily.
The Electrolux T8 ZT3510 weights just 5.1kg and has the following compact dimensions: height 33cm, width 53cm and a depth of 32.5cm. Additional features include a 4.5 metre cord with rewind action, 9 meter action radius and a quick release 1.3 litre dustbin.

Customer Reviews
There are several boxings of the T8 and this review is based primarily on my "Blue" model. However, I've checked the specs elsewhere and a careful reading shows that the only difference between them is the number of accessories that come with the cleaner. I would strongly suggest that you check which accs are offered and decide which you need (or can live without). That will allow you to make a good decision on which version to buy.
I was much taken with the box art (I've included a picture on the product page) which depicts a pair of shapely female legs, reclining seductively on a settee, presumably while the owner of the legs waits for her love-slave to finish the vacuuming before some torrid bonking. Hmm - must get out more.
The cleaner is small, compact, lightweight and well balanced which makes it easy to carry and nicely maneouvrable on the ground. Like any such cleaner it trundles happily around the room behind you like a mildly brain-damaged, paraplegic puppy on wheels (aah!), clunking into furniture and small children with reckless abandon.
In terms of size, it's much the same as a Dyson pull-along - perhaps a little smaller and a couple of kilos lighter (check the specs) than a Dyson "lightweight". I've also included a piccie of the T8 standing next my Bosch Tiger Tank to give a sense of scale.
Now - us blokes know that size isn't everything, but, when it comes to household appliances, small is beautiful (or at least conveniently storable). The problem with vacuum cleaners though, is that small means frequently requiring emptying and the dust bucket on this vacuum will need emptying a lot more often.
It does have quite a short electrical cable (only about 7m) and it will need to be replugged as it moves from room to room. The suction tube and wand won't quite reach all the way up the stairs but, as the unit is so light, it's easy enough to carry it up ; down ; perch it on a step half-way up. It's also easy to operate: two big foot operated buttons (I mean that the /buttons/ are big, not my feet) - one to turn it on ; off and another to wind in the cable - and that's it, no need to worry about power settings and the like. Attaching the nozzle heads may, however, be a problem as they attach on an "interference fit" which means they rely on the friction between the nozzle and the metal extension tube to keep the nozzle on. That's fine 'till you want to remove the nozzle which you will find has become tightly wedged onto the tube and it needs some considerable strength and wiggling to get it off. Perhaps not so good for elderly users?
Overall power is impressive and it picked up a lot of dust ; hair. The cleaner comes with an all-purpose nozzle which is quite nicely sized for going into corners and under tables. There is also a dust wand/crevice nozzle, an upholstery/curtain head and a dust brush so you are well appointed with accessories.
I gave the "orange" version of the T8 three star as it is a perfectly acceptable pull-along vacuum cleaner, no different in most aspects from others of its ilk. It won't do the hoovering for you, nor will it rub expensive unguents into the supple skin of your back and press olives seductively nto your partly open mouth as the box art seems to suggest.
This version gets a fourth star on the basis of the comparative cost and if your main criterion is weight and maneouvrability, I would suggest that you add a fifth star. Recommended.

UPDATE, 3 months on
============================
Just a quick update - having used this on a regular and frequent basis for 3 months, I can say that it is still working well. It's lovely ; light and easily maneouvrable and it's still picking up the dirt efficiently.
The cable really needs to be longer though and the red warning light that comes on when the filter needs changing seems to have stuck on, even though I've cleaned the filter out.
We're happy with the cleaner but I'm glad it's not our main vacuum...
before i purchased this model ihad bought a dyson 26 ...there is no comparison.. this electolux is so easy to use and very manoverable unlike the dyson..which although being smaller was just ungainly...out of balance...and was ..to be frank a waste of money..the electrolux zt3510uk is far better in my opinion...it does everything you want it to...great!
